# Sprints

One file per sprint, named `sprint-<N>.md`, created from [`templates/sprint_backlog_template.md`](../../templates/sprint_backlog_template.md) during [`process/02_sprint_planning.md`](../../process/02_sprint_planning.md). Each holds that sprint's goal, dates, committed items, and tasks — the concrete thing `state.md` points to as the "current sprint backlog." Starts empty until the first sprint is planned.
