The redesign looks good visually, but it should get an accessibility pass before it is considered finished.

Suggested checks:

  • Confirm color contrast in navbar, mastheads, buttons, and muted text
  • Add a visible keyboard focus style for links and controls
  • Provide a skip-to-content link
  • Verify headings are in logical order
  • Ensure overlay text remains readable over all hero images

Why this matters:

  • Better experience for keyboard and screen-reader users
  • Reduces accessibility regressions as more styles are added
  • Improves overall quality and usability
