PostcardMojo

A clean Classic ASP application scaffold based on the RouteKit MVC framework.

Run locally

Install IIS Express with Classic ASP enabled.
Run run_site.cmd.
Browse to http://localhost:8082/.

The landing page is served by HomeController.Index through app/views/Home/landing.asp. The earlier logo-reference page remains at app/views/Home/index.asp. Requests enter through public/Default.asp.

Add an MVC feature

Generate a controller: cscript //nologo scripts\generateController.vbs ExampleController "Index"
Put the controller in app/controllers/ and include it from app/controllers/autoload_controllers.asp.
Register its name in core/lib.ControllerRegistry.asp.
Add its route in public/Default.asp.
Add any view files under app/views/.

Optional generators are also provided for database migrations and repository classes. Configure the connection string in public/web.config only when the application needs a database.
